Thank you for visiting! I’m a professional basket weaver with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the art of basketry, and I’ve spent the last 25 years sharing that passion by teaching workshops across Southern Ontario.
My work is inspired by a deep appreciation for the beauty and function of hand-woven baskets. When I design baskets for my students, I love incorporating a wide variety of weaving techniques, materials, and creative concepts—helping others build skills they can apply to their own unique pieces. Reed is my material of choice, and whenever possible, I enjoy using hand-dyed reed to add color, character, and personal touch to each project.
What brings me the greatest joy is seeing my students discover something new—something that not only improves their technique, but also deepens their appreciation for this ancient, timeless craft.
